January Birthday´s - Cumpleaños de Enero

All the birthdays in our household are in a 6 month span between November and May. José and Nere celebrate in January. Luisa and Ramses in April, and Alexia and Gloria in May. Bere in November and Juantan in February. So for 6 months we don´t have anything. 

Todos los cumpleaños de nuestra casa son en un tiempo de 6 meses entre Noviembre y Mayo. José y Nere celebran en Enero. Luisa y Ramsés en Abril. y Alexia y Glori en Mayo. Bere en Noviembre y Juantan en Febrero. Entonces por 6 meses no hay nada de celebraciones.

Nere celebrated her 10th birthday on Jan 8. Nere cumplió 10 años el 8 de Enero. 

We started her birthday with chocolate chip pancakes.

José celebrated his 8th birthday with a cake baked by his big sister Ale on Jan 21. Keith and Emily were visiting at the time.
José cumplió 8 años con el pastel que hizo su hermana Ale el 21 de Enero. Keith y Emily estaban de visita.

Christmas visit - visita de Navidad

Juantan´s parents and brother and sister we able to visit us for Christmas. We spent Christmas Day in CVE, spent a couple days at the beach in San Carlos, stopped by the zoo in Hermosillo on the way back, and celebrated the New Year at CVE again, then it was time to say good-bye. It was a blessing to have them here to celebrate Christmas together, and for them to get to know the kids a little better. 

Los papás y hermanos de Juantan vinieron para visitar en la Navidad. Pasamos el día de Navidad en CVE, fuimos a la playa en San Carlos por algunos días, de regreso pasamos al zoológico en Hermosillo con todo CVE, celebramos en Año Nuevo en CVE otra vez, y nos depedimos de ellos. Era una bendición tenerles aquí para celebrar la Navidad, y para que ellos conocieron un poco mejor a los niños.
